TAKAPUNA BEACH BUSINESS ASSOCIATION

History & Today

The Takapuna Beach Business Association has a long history, having originally been incorporated as the Takapuna Businessmen's Association in 1948.  It was renamed the Takapuna Business Association in 1979 to better reflect its members, and in 2003 was renamed Takapuna Beach Business Association to better identify what made the area special and different from other business areas.
The Takapuna Beach Business Association is an incorporated society funded by commercial ratepayers in the Takapuna Beach Business District.  The Association's role is to represent the marketing, promotional and advocacy needs of members.
