Terry has been involved with the TBBA for the best part of 5 years having been a Board Member, Treasurer and Deputy Chair. He brings a wealth of experience having spent over 25 years in marketing and management in the tourism and hospitality industry. He has worked in Takapuna Beach for 10 years as the Director of Sales & Marketing and more recently as the General Manager of The Spencer on Byron Hotel.

He is very excited to be playing his part to ensure that Takapuna Beach becomes the premier metropolitan centre in the world's most liveable city!

Terry has two children both born in Takapuna Beach and has lived on the North Shore for the best part of 30 years. He and his family are very active in the community and they all very much enjoy spending time in and around Takapuna Beach, enjoying the magic that it has to offer.

Andria went straight to the North Shore after landing in Auckland Airport a number of years ago and has called it home ever since. Coming from a background of export marketing and policy advocacy, she is now responsible for promoting Takapuna Beach as the best place to be whether you're looking for the most fashionable pieces, most delectable dishes, best views, or the most exciting events.

Julian believes Takapuna Beach is the gem in Auckland's crown, "I love what Takapuna offers in terms of balancing beach and city living, there is a huge opportunity for economic growth in Takapuna while further enhancing this." Julian supports the council's plans to activate growth in Takapuna Beach, and looks forward to contributing alongside the local community towards making Takapuna Beach Auckland's premier Metropolitan Centre. Julian has been involved with property investment since 1997 including 13 years in Europe.

Greg is a founding partner of Takapuna Beach based Three Sixty Capital Partners, a boutique Investment Bank. With a technology background working with such companies and IBM and EDS, Greg is keen to promote technology activities and investment on the North Shore and in particular, Takapuna Beach.

Rob has practised law for over 28 years (the last 10 years here in Takapuna Beach) and is a partner in North Shore's leading law firm, Simpson Western. He heads the firm's Property team, advising clients in all aspects of property-related law.  Rob strongly believes that one should contribute to one's community where possible and shares his knowledge and insights in helping build a prosperous Takapuna Beach.

Having been raised on the north shore, Terence is very passionate and proud of Takapuna Beach. He brings to the TBBA a wealth of event and customer service experience. As Venue Manager of the Bruce Mason Centre, he focuses on attracting people to Takapuna by providing high quality entertainment and conferencing experiences. Terence loves the city/beach atmosphere of Takapuna and is keen to promote Takapuna as the “Go To” place in NZ for entertainment, retail, hospitality and commercial opportunities.

George Wood

The redevelopment of Takapuna, with the assistance of the Auckland Council’s development agency Panuku Development Auckland, is strongly supported by George.  He believes Takapuna Metro Centre has huge potential for the future and wants to see it regain its premier status as the North Shore’s main centre.

George had a 32 year career with the NZ Police prior to retiring in 1998 to become mayor of the North Shore City.  In the last three years of his time in the Police he managed policing on the North Shore.  He lives with his wife Myra at Forrest Hill

George, a non-voting member of the TBBA, is appointed to the TBBA board by the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board, where he is deputy chairman.  He was mayor of the former North Shore City when the TBBA became a business improvement district enabling the association to gain funding from a targeted rate.
